Description:

This dataset contains multiscale data used to examine the relationship between social vulnerability indicators and FEMA Individual Assistance (IA) disbursement following Hurricane Harvey in Harris County, Texas. It includes three datasets corresponding to household-level, tract-level aggregated household data, and census tract-level ACS data. Each file includes normalized and log-transformed variables such as damage burden, income, disability, renters, mobile homes, and flood depth. These data support spatial econometric modeling at different scales to evaluate the effects of aggregation and ecological fallacy in disaster recovery research.
